Since October 1996 we have continued, year-on-year to be recognised for the prestigious award of Investors in People.
We run an extensive training programme for our employees. TYPICAL ROLES
EVENTS
Working as part of an event team, you will be able to demonstrate stamina, commitment and attention to detail as well as the satisfaction of seeing a job through from start to finish. If you are looking for a 9 to 5 job though, then this is not for you.
- Preparing and presenting event proposals and costings
- Identifying new Events business and business development
- Managing projects from 200-800+ people
- Support in the preparation conference and incentive travel proposals
- Prepare itineraries for site inspections and attend inspections
- Maintain client databases, mailings and final billings
Excellent IT skills are essential as you will sell, operate and co-ordinate website registrations, event databases and email mailings. This is an exciting role, and you must be passionate about what you deliver.
VENUE FIND
In this role you will use your wealth of global destination, venue and hotel knowledge to lead the client confidently with the proposals that you produce. You will need to be adept at understanding client requirements quickly, and possess high energy and drive in this extremely busy environment.
You will be self-motivated, an excellent communicator, listener and proven successful negotiator, with strong interpersonal skills and not phased by objections. You must be willing to attend weekend familiarisation trips, which will build on your existing knowledge. Good IT skills and attention to detail are also a requirement
